Greater Rochester Visitors Association
Ed Hall, CTP, president and CEO of the Greater Rochester
Visitors Association, was inducted into the National
Tourism Foundation’s Hall of Fame during the NTA Annual
Convention in Salt Lake City, Nov. 10 – 15, 2000. Hall has
been a constant supporter of the Foundation and its mission
from its beginning in 1982. Over the years Hall has served
as a member of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees and most
recently served as the Foundation’s 1999 Chairman.
“I am tremendously honored to join the distinguished past
inductees in the NTF Hall of Fame,” said Hall. “This honor
is the highlight of my career. For more than 15 years the
work of the Foundation has been my passion. To see the
Foundation grow from a good idea; to having awarded more
than $1 million in scholarships, grants and awards is
